Baked French Toast

Yield: 8-10
Preparation Instructions:
Butter an 11x15 Glass Baking Pan. Place bread into the pan. Beat eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour over the bread. Push bread down into the liquid. Cover and refrigerate for several hours or over-night.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Bake 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out wet but clear.
Cut into squares. Serve with warm maple syrup and butter.

We are big fans of the Spice Shop. The flavors were delectable however I think the recipe needs to be kitchen tested as something is off in the recipe resulting in a big gloopy mess. Too much milk for the number of eggs. We had to remove each slice of bread and finish cooking the toast stove top even after 35 min in the oven. Maybe there is a typo and the milk should be considerably less?
Adding a dab of cream cheese to the top of each slice before baking is a nice touch….
