Cumin Seeds

Details
With its potent, unique flavor, Whole Cumin is a crucial ingredient in many kinds of global cuisine. It’s essential in Indian curries, and is commonly roasted before being ground to give it a lovely nutty, toasted taste. The somewhat bitter, earthy flavor is crucial to good chili. Nearly all Mexican bean and meat recipes call for generous amounts of cumin (called "comino" in Mexican recipes), as do foods of various other Latin American countries. Several European countries use it to flavor their breads.

As in, when I cook with this cumin, I get compliments! I grind these whole cumin seeds as needed in my spice grinder. The flavor is so much better than any other cumin seed I've tried before. My go-to from now on.
TheSpiceHouse cumin seeds are my cumin of choice, and I grind it with a Krups spice grinder. Prior to grinding my own I bought ground cumin from TheSpiceHouse and I remarked to a friend "I thought I knew what fresh cumin was". It was excellent, and I can recommend it if you do not grind your own.
This is fabulous for Indian, Turkish, and Latin American cooking.
