About This Spice
The blend--created by the founder of the Spice House--begins with premium small-batch vanilla sugar, to which we add freshly ground Vietnamese Saigon cinnamon and a small amount of aromatic ground Indian cardamom. This flavored sugar blend is perfect in tea and reminiscent of the Middle Eastern tradition of flavoring coffee with cardamom. This blend was formally named, "Chicago Old Town Spiced Sugar."
