This Vietnamese-Inspired blend draws in all areas of the palate with citrus flavor up front, followed by the warm pungency of ginger; leading to a hint of bitter herbs, then the heat of the chilies emerges. Quickly flash-fry this blend in oil to begin a great stir-fry, or use it as a nice addition to cold pasta or noodle salads. It’s also wonderful for encrusting chicken or fish before baking, to season sushi and spring rolls, or on steamed vegetables. So good and so easy

I use this in stir fry to both marinade the meat and finish the dish. It's the core flavors you need for your Asian inspired dishes and you can pump up the flavor you want to shine. For instance, I love lemongrass, which is an ingredient in this blend. I just add a bit of The Spice House lemongrass to enhance that particular flavor profile. For another stir fry, I might enhance the ginger if this blend with fresh ginger. It's also great on noodles or on steamed rice with a bit of soy. It's a good tool to have on your spice rack

Great gifts, if you can bear to part with them.

We tried the Green Goddess dressing seasoning for the first time and gave the Argyle Street stir fry mix to my sister, the Moroccan spice mix to my brother, and some Back of the Yards to my parents. All were very well received.
