You supply the purified water, vinegar, the kosher salt, and the cucumbers, and we'll take care of the rest. This Pickling blend of Whole Spices has everything you need for spectacular pickles. We use the sweetest cracked cassia bark, lots of sweet cloves and allspice berries along with hand-broken star anise to add a warm sweetness to our pickling spice mix, while pepper, mustard seeds, dill seeds, and juniper add a savory tang.

Use 2 teaspoons per quart jar for pickles or use this spice blend for other vegetables like onions and beets, or even pickled eggs.
Use this blend for Old World delights like pickled tomatoes and beans.
This blend is ideal for making corned beef, mix five parts Pickling Spices to one part Whole Moroccan Coriander Seeds.

Best Pastrami Ever

I had a 9 pound brisket flat that I brined in the pickling spices for 13 days. I followed the recipe for corned beef on The Spice House site. I used Coriander and peppercorns gently warmed and crushed for the rub. Smoked, rested and sliced. Made Reuben sandwiches and they were the best.
I highly recommend The Spice House pickling spice.

I love the freshness and quality of the spices and spice blends from Spice House. My favorites are ceyalon cinnamon for morning coffee and glucose control, Saigon cinnamon for baking, and my favorite blend for grilled seafood & fish ( use on shrimp, tuna, cod & walleye) and chicken is the spicy chili lime season blend. It’s delish!! Working on getting the perfect ratio/combo of curry ( hot & sweet) garlic, Garam Masala & garlic for my butternut squash soup. Tonight’s ratio smells pretty spot on. Thanks for the best freshest spices around.
