Jamaican Jerk Seasoning

Global Flavor
Hot & Spicy
Made in Small Batches

People visit Jamaica for the beaches, but they stay for the jerk. Jamaican Jerk Seasoning is the island's piquant allspice and chile pepper rub for chicken and pork. Jerking is the technique of poking small holes in meat to infuse it with the jerk flavor.

Exact measures not required. This marinade always turns out! Add the chicken and this thick sauce to a zip lock bag and marinate 1- 8 hours.
  • Mix into ranch or mayo for an amazing sandwich spread.
  • Takes wings from good to GREAT!

About This Blend

Our Jamaican Jerk Seasoning is a best seller during the summer grilling season. The best testimonial we’ve received for this blend came from a native Jamaican attending school in the US, who told us it was so authentic it made him homesick! For real jerk flavor, it’s worth the extra time it takes to make a marinade, but if you're not into marinades the flavor is still great sprinkled over ribs, chicken and grilled shrimp.

Jamaican Jerk Grilled Swordfish

The Spice House Jamaican Jerk seasoning is delicious. Our family favorite is to spritz with/olive oil, then coat swordfish w/the spice and grill it…chef’s kiss!

Best marinade ever

I’ve been using this blend for probably 10 years, and there’s no other jerk seasoning that compares! The marinade recipe on the jar is perfection!! Any time I fix this for company, they want the recipe, so now I’m ordering flat packs to share! I also love putting a sprinkle or two in black beans and using it to season Caribbean greens that I make to go with the grilled chicken. It is simply the best!

Good base

Way too heavy on salt, so I use this blend as a base and add onion, garlic, clove, allspice, cayenne, cinnamon, rubbed sage & thyme.
